THE LAURE-CONAN PARK

A must see interlude in nature, and exceptional site to discover, this recreational tourist park provides an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Domaine Charlevoix.

The property that makes up the Domaine Charlevoix was established in the early 1990s by the assembly of land which had previously been devoted to farming and forestry. Measuring more than 20,000,000 square feet in area, it was later converted into a wilderness park by Dr. André Gilbert of Quebec City. His goal was to allow the local population and tourist clientele to be able to enjoy the undeniable beauty of the site.

It all started with the development of trails running through the estate, crossing the plateau of high mountain ledges, descending all the way down to the seaway banks. Over the years, the resort benefited from the construction of various French-style buildings, one of which was erected on the edge of a small lake. The preservation of the ruins of an old manor and the laying out of pedestrian pathways, add to the unparalleled charm of the Domaine Charlevoix.

It is now up to you to discover this piece of paradise with its 8 km of trails amidst enchanting landscapes.
